Kind of like my Vespa I use to do local errands. I like the push and go technology. I wish they had a longer range more than 40 miles and the cost of 10,000 i sabot expensive for most.

wonderful! but I need for two people
-
Its very easy to do burnouts with electric vehicles so it can probably do them

I am no biker. But from a physics perspective, range and overall efficiency will greatly be improved by fitting your bikes with CVT transmissions. Then you could have a really small final drive/sprocket.

Nice line of bikes!

@kirstendirksen I'm sure the neighbours would appriciate the Zero, but they're asleep (and they stay that way) when I leave for work. I got a DS from the first shipment. I picked it up on the 17th of november. Nearly everyone gets that it's electric. I get stopped and asked about it all the time. I've been blogging about it at zerods dot blogspot dot com.

@gasdive Do your neighbors appreciate how quiet your bike is? Do people get that it's electric when they hear how quiet it is? I see you're from Australia.. you must have been one of the first to get one as they just launched the DS there in November.

Well I've had my Zero DS for a bit over a month now. The DS. It's been fantastic. Just as he said in the video. I haven't had to kick any children away from a hot exhaust. I haven't woken the neighbours when I go to work at dawn. It is recharged by morning tea time and I can go out for lunch with a full charge. It's fully charged again before I ride home. It's no rocket sled but it's quick enough to get away from the cars. Only bad point, hard to find good tyres in those funny sizes.

very cool motorcycles i like them

I love that its a US company that employs US workers, at the vanguard of the electric motorcycle movement. But they need to have a street bike design because even the S and DS models look like dirtbike. But gotta love the lightweight and the torque! >:)

Great for short commutes but i'd never give up my ZX10 for one. Only cost me $10 bucks to fill up anyway.

I would love one of the dualsport bikes.. I own a big KTM 950 adventure. This would be the perfect substitute for my short commute:)
